​Accounts Manager – Hereford

Our client, a growing local independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Hereford, is seeking to appoint an ACCA/ACA Qualified Accounts Manager to join their expanding team.

Role Overview:

This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong background in accounts and tax, who will work closely with the Partners in a general practice capacity. You will manage a portfolio of clients including Owner Managed Businesses (OMBs), Small to Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), and farming clients, providing comprehensive accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients (OMB, SME, and farming sectors).

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing necessary support.

• Collaborate with Partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client services.

• Handle both accounts and tax compliance for a diverse range of clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience with extensive general practice experience.

• Strong experience in accounts and tax compliance.

• A team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
