Accounts & Tax Manager

​Our client is an established, award-winning firm of accountants, tax, and business advisors based in Cheltenham. The firm are expanding their team and looking for an experienced accountant to join.

The firm provide a comprehensive range of services to businesses, their owners, and high-net-worth individuals across the UK.

Role Requirements:

Minimum of five years' experience in practice

Up-to-date knowledge of accounting legislation and guidance

Excellent interpersonal skills and a people-oriented approach

Organized, confident, and diligent with a commitment to deadlines

​

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on preparation of client work

Reviewing junior and peer files

Developing dynamic workflows using Digita, Xero, QuickBooks, Freeagent, and Sage

Building strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients

​

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Fully ACCA or ACA qualified preferred; consideration for those qualified by experience

Strong technical skills in practice accounting

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

​
