Clark Wood, accountancy practice recruitment specialists, are working with a well-regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Stratford upon Avon who are now looking to add an adept and ambitious Semi Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant to their team.

Joining this small, tight knit team, you will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax returns. You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns, and potentially a small amount of payroll processing if required.

The successful individual will have experience of working in a varied practice position and may be AAT Qualified (or at the final stages), ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified, or may be Qualified by Experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant to join an independent firm in Stratford upon Avon where you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients in a friendly and supportive team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of periodic VAT returns Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary

Skills:

AAT Qualified / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified / Qualified by Experience
Practice experience is essential
