Clark Wood, a specialist recruitment consultancy in the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors, is partnering with a leading High Wycombe chartered accountancy firm to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Manager.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, overseeing complex compliance work and reviewing tax returns prepared by the team. You will also provide guidance and support to Tax Seniors and Trainees, ensuring the efficient delivery of services. There will be an element of advisory work, where you'll deliver tax planning services and support on technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

Review and prepare self-assessment and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates.

Lead and mentor a team of Tax Seniors and Trainees.

Oversee compliance work for complex clients.

Handle HMRC enquiries and compliance checks.

Provide tax advisory services and planning support.

Manage tax billing and WIP.

Skills & Experience:

CTA qualified (ATT or QBE considered).

Strong personal tax experience within a practice environment.
