Corporate Tax Manager - Exeter

Clark Wood have been instructed on a Managerial level opportunity - for a nationally recognised large regional firm in Exeter - which offers the chance to focus on interesting advisory work for a mixed portfolio of tax clients.

This role would ideally suit a CTA Qualified experienced Assistant Manager or current Manager from a small, mid-tier or large firm, who has experience managing a department and also a large complex portfolio of tax clients.

The main client base for this role would be SMEs & OMBs and some international groups in the Exeter and wider Devon region.

The ideal candidate must have good technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK tax issues;

The team deals with a broad range of business and corporate tax issues, business reorganisations, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning.

Provide high level advisory & planning services with a great deal of autonomy;

Business development and networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio;

Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.

This Exeter office is commutable from areas all across Devon; Exmouth, Crediton, Okehampton, Tiverton, Honiton etc.

CTA/ ACA Qualified

Proven track record of Business Development

Experience within a Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level role
