Clark Wood is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager in Manchester, offering a chance to focus on exciting advisory work for a diverse portfolio of tax clients.
Role Overview:
Position: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Manchester
Qualifications: CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA Qualified
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Handle a portfolio of complex corporate tax clients, including Owner Managed Businesses, SMEs, Directors, Partners, and some Private Clients.
Advisory Work: Provide high-level advisory and planning services with significant autonomy.
Technical Expertise: Address a wide range of UK tax issues such as restructures, demergers, share schemes, EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning, and succession planning.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise staff, ensuring efficient and effective client service.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing or supervising staff and overseeing complex corporate tax clients.
Skills: Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of UK tax issues.
Background: Ideally suited for a candidate from a smaller firm looking to transition to a larger regional/national practice.
