NFP Audit Manager - Birmingham
We are currently seeking a dedicated NFP Audit Manager to join our esteemed firm in Birmingham. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Not For Profit (NFP) audit engagements, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients in the NFP sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee NFP audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Manage a portfolio of NFP clients, serving as the primary point of contact and building strong relationships based on trust and reliability.
Review and finalize audit files, financial statements, and related documentation prepared by audit teams, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Actively contribute to the development and implementation of audit strategies and methodologies tailored to NFP entities.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards affecting NFP organizations, applying this knowledge to enhance audit quality and client service.
Collaborate closely with partners and senior management on business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand our NFP audit practice.
Mentor and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
Critical Knowledge Required:
Comprehensive understanding of Not For Profit accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Qualifications Required:
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent), with a solid track record in NFP auditing.
Membership of relevant professional bodies is advantageous.
