Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with an established local firm of Chartered Accountants in Solihull who are looking to add an Accounts Technician to their friendly and professional team.

As an Accounts Technician your role will be varied but will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The workload will include the preparation of both statutory and management accounts as well as personal tax compliance.

This established firm pride themselves on looking after and developing their staff, offering great flexibility and a supportive, team centred working environment.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified (or working through Level 4) or Qualified by Experience and will have excellent experience of working within practice. Strong experience of using online accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks would be beneficial.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and self-assessment tax returns

Skills:

AAT Qualified or QBE (AAT Level 4 Student will also be considered)
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
