Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading firm of accountants in Altrincham who due to internal growth are looking to add an Accounts Senior Manager to their growing team.

This represents a key hire for the firm who are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead their general practice team, ensuring efficient service delivery, timely billing, and meeting workflow targets. You’ll manage a client portfolio, liaise with the Tax Department, and maintain high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team to deliver accountancy services and manage client portfolios.

Track job progress, WIP, and billing targets.

Review and prepare financial accounts, corporation tax computations, and returns.

Build strong client relationships and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Provide guidance to team members and assist with their professional development.

Ensure timely completion of work and respond to client queries efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

ACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in practice.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience in a similar managerial role.
