​​​Accounts Senior – Stourbridge

Clark Wood is working with a highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Stourbridge that is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

Role Overview:

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of client annual compliance routines, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed timescales and in accordance with the firm’s procedures. Your responsibilities will include reviewing financial statements, working papers, and statutory tax returns for a diverse range of clients within your allocated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients consisting of owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  • Review client records and prepare draft financial statements, resolving any queries with clients.

  • Prepare and submit tax computations and returns for various entity types.

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified.

  • Experience working in a Chartered Accountancy practice.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax compliance.
