Are you an experienced Accounts Senior looking for an exciting new opportunity in Scarborough? Clark Wood, specialists in accountancy practice recruitment, are working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Scarborough. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with a varied client base, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across multiple business sectors

Prepare and review statutory and management accounts with accuracy and attention to detail

Prepare associated corporation tax computations and returns

Provide support and guidance to junior staff, ensuring high standards of work

Contribute to the firm’s success by offering business advice and identifying opportunities for clients

Skills and Experience:

ACCA/ACA Qualified or in the final stages of qualification

Proven experience in year-end accounts preparation and a general practice environment

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and best practices

Proficiency in using accounting software
