Our client, a well-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in Stafford, is seeking an experienced ACCA Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented accountant looking to advance their career within a reputable firm.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Client Director, the ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting practice. You will play a key role in providing exceptional client service while managing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accounts portfolio managers in delivering client services.

• Manage bookkeeping and prepare VAT returns.

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

• Handle corporation tax computations and returns.

• Assist with some personal tax work (not the primary focus).

Ideal Candidate:

• ACCA or ACA Qualified with at least 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice.

• Strong technical skills in bookkeeping, VAT, and tax preparation.

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service.
