Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Our client, a well-regarded local firm of accountants in Wolverhampton, is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or currently pursuing the qualification, though candidates with Qualified by Experience (QBE) status will also be considered. This role provides comprehensive exposure to all aspects of accounts and cloud accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts for small businesses, including sole traders and limited companies (FRS 102 and 105).

  • Conduct monthly management accounting for a variety of clients.

  • Complete and submit self-assessment tax returns.

  • Provide general tax compliance and administration, including advice on income tax, corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, and CIS.

  • Assist with tax inquiries as they arise.

  • Utilize and further develop expertise in Xero, with a strong working knowledge being advantageous.
