Clark Wood is collaborating with a leading independent firm of accountants in the East of Exeter to recruit an Accounts Trainee for their expanding team.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual seeking career advancement within a dynamic accountancy practice. You will play a pivotal role in the firm's growth and team development.

Located around 2 miles outside of Exeter with ample parking available , this firm boasts a talented team and a diverse client base across the region.

Key responsibilities include preparing accounts and tax computations, supporting a portfolio of clients spanning owner-managed businesses and small to medium enterprises, and supervising junior staff members.

This role provides a solid platform for progression to Semi Senior and Senior Accountant, involving direct client interaction and management responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' practice experience and be AAT Qualified, or nearing completion of their exams. Experience in cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks is preferable
