Clark Wood, specialists in accountancy practice recruitment, are partnering with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants to expand their team in York. We are seeking a bright and ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join this esteemed firm.

This is a fantastic chance for an aspiring accountant to join a forward-thinking and respected firm in York where, as an Accounts Semi Senior, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of clients and enjoy significant opportunities for career development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accountancy practice and be looking to advance their career within a successful and supportive firm. You may have completed or be in the final stages of your AAT qualification, or have begun your ACA/ACCA studies.

Responsibilities:

Prepare year-end accounts and associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
Complete bookkeeping tasks for clients.
Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns.
Liaise with clients to resolve queries as needed.

Skills:

AAT Qualified/Finalist or ACA/ACCA Student
Essential: Experience working in an accountancy practice
