Clark Wood is working with a progressive and prestigious firm of accountants in Maidenhead, seeking an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to advance their career within a well-respected firm of chartered accountants.

As an Accounts Manager in Maidenhead, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from various business sectors. You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring all associated work is completed accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will manage and assist in the development of junior staff, providing support and reviewing their work.

The ideal candidate for the role will be ACCA or ACA qualified with strong general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are essential to build and maintain successful working relationships with multiple clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors
Preparation and review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts
Preparation and review of tax computations and returns
Supporting partners and clients with bespoke queries and ad hoc projects
Acting as the primary point of contact for an array of clients
Managing billing, personal workload, and team tasks efficiently to exceed client expectations

Skills:

ACCA / ACA Qualified
Essential practice experience
Client management experience
Experience reviewing work prepared by junior staff members
