Clark Wood is thrilled to announce a partnership with a leading Bristol-based Accountancy Practice, currently seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to enhance their dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients with turnovers up to £60 million across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage audit planning and fieldwork for a varied client portfolio.

• Deliver high-quality, fully compliant financial statements.

• Identify risk areas within client businesses and develop appropriate audit strategies.

• Review team members’ work to ensure audit objectives are met.

• Assist in managing, motivating, mentoring, and developing junior team members.

• Utilize in-depth client knowledge to address complex and challenging issues.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• ACA/ACCA full qualification.

• A comprehensive understanding of auditing practices, including specifics of individual balances and broader contexts.

• Strong supervisory skills, focused on coaching and motivating audit assistants.

• Excellent project management skills, including decision-making, analytical capabilities, time management, and organizational abilities.
