Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a prestigious and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Newton Abbot who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.

As an Accounts & Audit Senior the successful person will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors.

You will you be responsible for preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns for your clients as well as leading audit assignments on businesses from a wide array of sectors from the initial planning stage through to completion.

As a Senior you will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development as they progress.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leading audit assignments from planning too completion
Preparing statutory and management accounts
Completing corporation tax computations
Providing points for Director review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (Part Qualified will be considered)
Experience of leading Audit assignments
Practice experience is essential
