Role Overview:
As an Accounts & Audit Manager based in Manchester, you will collaborate directly with partners to oversee a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industry sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the audit process from planning to completion, ensuring optimal staffing levels for each assignment, and maintaining exceptional service standards to uphold client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality services and fostering strong client relationships.
Lead audit engagements, overseeing the entire process and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Mentor and develop staff through regular appraisals and training initiatives to support their professional growth.
Contribute to business development efforts, including client presentations and initiatives aimed at securing new business for the firm.
Ideal Candidate:
ACA/ACCA qualified with substantial audit experience gained within a reputable practice.
Demonstrated experience in managing staff and conducting performance appraisals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive approach to client service.
