Bookkeeper

​Clark Wood is working with a local firm of Accountants in Oxford, who are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join the business.

As a Bookkeeper your day to day responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.

Providing your portfolio of clients with a bookkeeping service up to trial balance.

Assisting clients with meeting VAT deadlines and CIS returns.

You may also be required to prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for some clients.

The Person:

To be considered for this role you should have extensive experience of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns, ideally having worked in a busy practice environment, working with tight deadlines.

You will have a good working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, Quick Books etc.

You will mainly be using Xero and ideally will be well versed in its functionality, but if not, full training can be provided. Experience of MTD implementation would be desirable.
